Look out world, the Game Cube finally gets its piece of "turd" game.

I originally did the preview for this game from the E3 press packet, and darn it looked and sounded cool. You'd be able to go around to the various Universal Studios theme areas and partake in whatever mini-games or stages Kemco provided. It somehow all tied into to collecting stamps to beat the game, as well as buying neat little tourist items.

It's cute how the mind plays tricks on hopeful gamers.

Instead of some cool, alternative game idea, we're presented with a horrifically rushed, severely lacking in everything CD-Rom that's begging to be out of its miserable existence. You pick from one of six freaking looking children and get to run around the theme park collecting trash and earning points for shaking mascot hands. Points can then be traded into Woody Woodpecker (who sounds like he was voiced by a leftover Alvin and the Chipmunks actor and sampled through a Game Boy) to get caps that allow you to get onto the 'rides'. Once you're in, you're tested to the saddest set of mini-games ever. How bad are they? E.T. is like playing a beta version of Paperboy without the paper, the Wild Wild West is nothing but a poor man's Mad Dog Mcree, and playing Jaws is about as much fun as watching Crash Bandicoot load.

Worse yet, when you think you just have a lousy kid game, you get to the trivia area, which asks you the most bizarre questions about movies people haven't seen in years. Remember how the guy died in Out of Africa? How about the date Marty gets the letter in Back to the Future? Now you have a game that's not only boring, but doesn't know which age classification it's in.

Graphics are low end, sound is boring, there's about 3 pages worth of dialogue, and...um...and...well, damn it, this game just sucks.

Avoid at all costs. In fact, don't even pretend that this exists. Go spend your money on other games. Just stay the heck away from this supposed amusement park.
